I really think that everyone on the Internet has gone soft. We used to drive excellence through insults, and when an insult came along, everybody else insulted the person until they either left or got better at what they did. The Internet used to breed excellence and anything short was seen as a waste of bandwidth.ModernGeek, on Slashdot
