Is it just me or are mailing lists making a comeback? Or maybe they never left.

I now subscribe to a few lists of varying frequency, notably:

• KmikeyM (periodically)
• NextDraft (daily)
• Now I Know (daily)
• Zuckerberg’s Lament (monthly-quarterly)

Also, some of my friends are using mailing lists to keep folks up to date on various goings-on.

At one point, e-mail inboxes were overflowing, and one form of relief was subscribing to a blog’s RSS feed. But maybe RSS feeds are overflowing and spam filters have gotten good enough that mailing lists are a viable option again.
